VMC Consulting Launches New Customer Care Center In San Antonio With Grand Opening Celebration

Redmond, WA (April 6, 2011) – VMC Consulting has opened its newest Customer Care Center in San Antonio, Texas.  After a successful facilities build out, the Customer Care Center began daily operations last month, and continues to expand with the recruiting and training of new agents in the Brooks City-Base facility to provide customer and technical support services for companies and their customers. To celebrate the launch of the new operation, a Grand Opening event was held to welcome the partnership between VMC Consulting and the San Antonio community.

“We are very excited about entering the San Antonio business community with our new Customer Care Center to begin serving our clients,” said Kristin Carrico, Chief Operating Officer at VMC.  “Brooks City-Base has proved to be a great location with the right people, infrastructure, facilities and civic and business environment to create a competitive advantage for our clients and our company.”

The Customer Care Center, located at 3300 Sidney Brooks Rd. Bldg. 532 in San Antonio is a 35,000 square foot state of the art, 600-seat call center on the Brooks City-Base campus. It is one of the largest Customer Care Centers owned and operated by VMC, headquartered in Redmond, Washington.

VMC celebrated the grand opening of the new Customer Care Center on February 17, 2011 with an open house reception onsite at the new location.  Over 120 guests from the local and state government, San Antonio business community, Brooks City-Base, and Economic Development Foundation were in attendance to celebrate the launch of the new facility.  Guests heard welcome remarks from distinguished guests including City of San Antonio Councilwoman Jennifer Ramos, Brooks Development Authority Board Chairman Manny Pelaez-Prada, Bexar County Commissioner Tommy Adkisson, and San Antonio Economic Development Foundation Board Member, Randy Cain.
