Redmond, WA (March 2, 2010) – VMC Game Labs has assembled a panel of top publishers and console makers to discuss games testing in the new biometric console environment at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2010 in San Francesco, CA on March 11 at 9:00 AM in the Moscone Center, Room 302, South Hall.

With console manufacturers leading the gaming industry into the world of virtual reality with innovations like Microsoft’s NATAL, Nintendo’s Wii MotionPlus and Sony’s PlayStation Motion Controller, the panel will discuss the related challenges, requirements and strategic management of these advances from a testing perspective. These new technologies are rapidly changing the Games QA industry.

Moderated by VMC Game Labs’ Director of Development, Integration and QA, Linda Lemieux, the panel includes Alfonso Lombardi (Senior Program Manager, VMC Game Labs), Jeff Wilkerson (Director, First Party Quality Assurance, Sony Computer Entertainment America), Peter Cardwell (Director of Test, Microsoft), William Rompf (Quality Assurance Manager, Capcom USA), James Cox (Head of Development, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe).

The VMC Game Labs experts will also be on hand throughout the conference, from March 8-13, to provide information on the company’s high quality development, testing, verification, porting, localization, and technical support services across multiple platforms.
